What's the best way to hide embarrassing apps in iOS? In iOS 4, the easiest way was to go into Restrictions and restrict to 12+ rated apps. But now iOS 5 seems to display ALL apps in the Usage section, under Storage.

Over the "purchased" menu on the app store app it will display all the apps you bought (of course you know) look for the app you want to hide and just swipe over it , it will display the option to hide.

Ps. You can look at your hide list on itunes over pc/mac under the account panel.

If you are talking about apps ON the phone there pop them in an inconspicuous folder. If you have a full set of apps on the springboard you can push them off the edge so they aren’t displayed though they show up in spotlight (though who wants pages of crap on their phone).

If you are talking about Apps you've deleted showing up in purchase history, then yes you can swipe to hide them.

Or maybe the OP, being a newbie, got tired of the negative and unhelpful comments. Just sayin'.

kinda common with this forum now...

Yeah, kind of a shame. I think some people have a bit of growing up to do. Some (a lot of) people like adult entertainment, it's a personal thing for most people, end of.

Jailbreak your device, and hide the apps via SBsettings.

Also, do these apps have to do with your love with China? (judging by your username)

So do wear a mask to go to a strip club or just sneak in when it's dark? Be careful you might meet your preacher in there in drag.
