That living is about 200m², I consider large a scene almost an order of magnitude bigger. I work mostly for institutional clients(especially in UAE) and their home can be massive. Larger rooms can be 1000m² or more.

My scenes can be massive(here is an example of a small/medium sized scene: https://www.c4dzone.com/it/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=33639 ) so GPU rendering is not for me in general. Since Octane will be free I'll try it on some very small projects.

your work looks amazing :D well cool.

it's going of topic and idk if it's good to ask but, what class of hardware are you using to render and how long can render times be? ball park numbers are all i want.

i do love to see someone doing complex work, makes me happy

A 4K(4096px) render of that scene take about a couple hour using 5000Cinebench15 points hardware( nMP8core plus a couple old PC slaves). A single 28core 7.1 should render significantly faster than that but honestly render time are the last of my problem, what slows me down today is storage IO and system bandwidth, otherwise the 6.1 has been a solid nice silent little machine.

thanks :D
:D
cool to get insight in to software I do not use.

storage IO and system bandwidth tend to get ignored by a lot of people but now seems to relay be growing into more of a problem in some tasks.

I assume there seen as the less sexy side of computer hardware so get ignored more
