Hinge Cracked :(

Service Provider trying to pull a fast one? Or is Apple customer service wing covering for someone who didn't get an updated memo about the hinges? Or are we dealing with the right hand of Apple need to be reintroduced to its left.

Hmmm not sure but SP tried to make me pay 50 euros for giving me the estimate until they realized they couldn't as i'm under guarantee.....

i had my hinge fixed under warranty almost a month ago.

unfortunately they also replaced the screen with a horrible one. I didn't know ghosting could be so bad on an lcd screen. just moving my web browser window around the screen, the imprint is left on the background image for about a second.
