heh 20 in is way to big. Heck I personlly think 17in laptops are to large.
I am a fan of 15 inchs. Sweet spot between being to tiny and still being very portable.

I want a 12/13" widescreen MBP with the same features as the 15" and the resolution of the most recent 17" PB. That would be my perfect machine. :D

Well, you just have fun with that horse of a computer. I'm sure the hour and a 1/2 battery life would be great for rendering or watching movies on the go :p

Don't forget to lift with your legs ;)

i could use a good laugh today so thank you... that really made me laugh! :)

dude... the resolution of the most resent 17" powerbook is unbeileveable! it'd be awesome on a 12-13" macbook/macbook pro... i'd sell my powerbook (which i absolutely love) right then and there and get a new macbook.

I once had a notebook with a 15" screen (4:3) with a resolution of 1600x1200....it was the only good thing about the machine (but that's a whole other story)....but the screen was amazing. The pixels were so small, you couldn't make out individual pixels with the naked eye. I know that kind of resolution isn't for everyone because some people have worse eyes than others, but I loved it.

Only a couple more inches than the 17inch PowerBook. I wonder how big it really would be. Obviously the OP spotted a typo, but I wonder if anyone would carry a 20-inch MacBook Pro. I might, who knows.
It may "only" be another 3 inches, but that's about 40% larger. I can't see it happening.

Having said that, isn't some PC manufacturer making a 19" or 20" laptop soon? Basically it's just a portable computer; it's not actually to be used on your lap or on-the-go.

i've only seen the newest 17" PB at the Apple Store downtown once and i tried to make out the pixles and i couldn't no matter how hard i looked... it was sweet!

Yeah, I remember hearing about that a year ago or so...external battery I think. If I wanted something like that, and didn't move it much, I think I'd just get the 20" iMac.
