So now that you know this is contrary to the policy stated on Apple's website, do you plan to do anything about it?
Well not really. Because I got my money back. If I didn't get any of my money back and I got store credit when others were getting full refunds back to their card then I would be mad. But because I used my debit card, it's not a big deal to me. The total was 850 and I got 750 back with 100 being mailed... I'm not in any hurry to get my 100 bucks back.
But in the future, it is something I'll have to watch carefully. This is the first time I have went through something like this. And I was also my biggest fear that when I did return my IPad, something like this would happen.
If anything, one thing I have learned is that either Apple employees are not communicated with this policy that well or their policy on the website does not reflex it accuracy which in that case I'm pretty much shocked since everything Apple does, it is methodically thought out.
