Now all you guys need to do is figure out a way to mass produce and sell. Could call them "open phone" costumes. Pretty kick ass tho.

We get about 1.5 hours per battery.

Those costumes are AWESOME! I can't believe the negativity coming from some of the tools in this thread. You're just jealous because you couldn't create anything 1/1000 as cool.

Cool. I was wondering when I'd see an iphone costume.

Back in 2006 I made a working ipod costume as well. I wired sensors to a physically rotating click wheel that were in turn soldered to the control board of a usb keyboard that allowed it to be controlled. An old ibook G3 provided a lot of donor parts. Fully charged it would last about 3 hours, though it was uncomfortable enough that I would never wear it for that long.

Unfortunately I can't find any other pictures at the moment. The damn project almost killed me. Two all nighters in a row is not a good idea...
