Pretty sure the adreno 320 has 4 cores as well. The die size on the adreno 320 is much smaller though hence why it can be used in phones. The powervr gpu in the ipad 4 is gigantic. The battery is also gigantic to compensate. I added a photo to my previous post with benchmarks from my nexus 7.

True the iPhone got the tri-core version since the quad-core version cannot fit.

A tri core with much smaller cores as well. It's essentially the iphone 4s gpu with one extra core. The ipad 4 has an entirely different gpu. It will likely never be used in a smartphone as it is just too power hungry.

Do you have an Egypt HD benchmark?

According to the link the nexus 4 (2013) is about 10 FPS slower but definitely is no slouch.

But according to this, they are on par or faster to the iPad 4 so your benchmark seems reasonable. Granted some of the Anandtech benchmark say in freezer for the Nexus 7, not too sure if putting a device in the freezer would help with benchmarks.

Egypt HD is right here.

Yeah finally Qualcomm developed a competitive GPU into the market (or AMD not too sure).

Yeah, for phones there really isn't anything better at the moment. It beats the a6 by a pretty big margin and offers a great compromise between performance and battery.

Anandtech did some more test on the Adreno 320 and I believe on the Nexus 7 review. Not too sure about the Adreno (wikia has no information except what most already know) but I'm under the impression PowerVR has the only true multicore GPU and Adreno still uses one core for its GPU.

Many GPUs are multitcore. The GeForce ULP used by NVIDIA in their Tegra chipsets have 16 IIRC.

Actually they aren't "true" cores. The one in PowerVR are actually two GPU in one die. The one in the Tegra and Adreno are specific to certain tasks, a tech site covered this. The Tegra 3 has 8 shaders which some sites consider cores but this is a wrong assumption. Also both Nvidia and Qualcomm do a s****y job of giving out information on their GPUs.
