I ordered mine on the 10th, it hasn't shipped yet...Order online. If you would of ordered on the 11th, it most likely would of shipped already.
(I'm sending it to a friend in Houston who will bring it to me)

Willbrook and The Woodlands showing stock of WiFi.
I bought a 16GB wifi from Woodlands earlier. They had about 12 at that time and about 4 32GB wifi, NO 3G.
I got lucky and called the store at Memorial City yesterday and they had just got a few in. I scored a 64gb 3G.
Now does anyone have a real burning desire for a 64gb WiFi model? This one that I bought last month is about to hit craig's list here in Houston.

Still in search of a 32gig 3G.... called all the apple stores (except Memorial City... damnit....) and all the BB's.... no go. Houston seems to be hot spot for Ipad purchases..
thx

And it's not so much the demand as it is the extremely constrained supply.
I think it is demand. I was just in the Houston Galleria Apple store...there must have been over 100 people in that store...it was elbow to elbow...with people in line just to LOOK at the iPad. And, people were walking out with ipads also. Watched one family with a stack of three that they had reserved...and they were there paying for them. Aplenty guy said he had more in back...but they were for people who had reserved.
But I have never seen anything like it. The Apple Galleria store has always been busy...but this was crazy. It looked like a bear siting in Yellowstone! If you haven't seen that...let me try another analogy...how about the line outside best buy on black friday!

I work at the First Colong Mall Apple Store in Sugar Land.
We have around 100 people on the reservations lists for each of the 3G models. We get between 12-15 3G models in per day. I'm not sure how the other stores in the area are, but you're probably going to get one faster if you order on Apple.com because right now every iPad we get in goes to reservations.
Wow. My estimates were way off then. I was thinking waiting lists were about 10-20 people deep. 100 is nuts.
