So where do new balls keep coming from, to maintain the steady state? It took me a bit of staring to spot it.

They aren't really being zapped into oblivion. One of the pieces from the zapped ball grows into a new ball.

Something similar happens in the bottom right corner, where a ball appears to get vaporized, and the machine directly above it produces a new one.

In the upper left quandrant, just above the horizontal laser-portation beam, balls are being zapped upward and into oblivion. So where do new balls keep coming from, to maintain the steady state? It took me a bit of staring to spot it.

You mean the little bit that lands on the agar plate and then grows back into a full-sized ball? Nice touch...

WOWOWOWOW, I really never meant for people to take this so seriously! Life is too short to figure it out! AHH!! But its still fun :p

For those who don't like blue, I spotted where the balls change color (and back again).

They also look different when frozen into a block of ice, but they seem to thaw out OK.

However, the machine isn't quite steady state, because balls split in two get put back together with a bit of glue. Eventually, I'm sure the glue will run out. I'll keep watching to find out.

Haha, this is awesome. :D

The only thing is... when I pulled it onto my desktop, I got a million little frames in Preview. Whatever happened to the 'Play' function? And on a side note, why won't it play if I set it as someone's desktop?
