How big is your sensor?

What can I say? I’m a pollster! Pretty easy one this time, unless you had no idea there are different sensor sizes in cameras!

I’ll allow multiple choice since some might have multiple cameras, and I’ll leave it up to you if you wish to include your smartphone. I left that category generic, since there is some sensor size variation among smartphone manufacturers.

I can always add if I missed something, but I think I have all the common sizes covered.

Used to be Canon FF, now Fuji APS-C but would love to be Fuji MF

One Ff and one aps-c. In addition to being smaller and pocket sized (eos m3) I use the aps-c with ff lenses effectively as a 1.7x extender with no detriment to minimum aperture. Cheaper than the Canon 1.4 extender!

I'm back to APS-C with the Fuji XT-3.
I recently sold my m43 Olympus camera and lenses to fund the Fuji.
I do use my iPhone as well.

APS-C (Fuji) for travel+iPhone-in-a-pinch and FF for everything else. I am looking at MF options, just cause. I don't actually need it. Possibly an old p45+ or p65+ and a view camera (Cambo), or maybe a tech camera (Cambo again). While all expensive, the latter (tech cam) is quite the stretch when adding in lenses. The Fuji MF options are very nice indeed, and might be a decent option for a view camera but there are more lens restrictions than you'd have with just a digital back.

Right now, I have an x100f for my travel camera and I love it, but am looking at the x-t3/t30 for more composition options and because I occasionally want to get images of birds and other wildlife while traveling around the UK.

Gosh, this is an expensive hobby, but on the other hand cheap because it keeps me sane and human

I have a M43 camera and generally I'm happy with the images that are produced. I'm looking at a compact camera and using dpreview's image comparison, I'm not seeing a huge difference between the OMD EM5 and the G5X II camera - at least pixel peeping. I know I can crop more aggressively on the OMD then any 1" sensor camera but I'm not looking to print my photos, most are viewed from a computer monitor or phone, so the its not something that I think will be too noticeable.

APS fro me (Nikon D7000 and a D50 as my "i'm okay if it gets banged up" body.) I use both FX and DX glass.
Hopefully my budget will allow an FF after the kids are out of college.

I'm still pretty sold on M43. It's a great blend of size, weight, and price for what is basically a hobby for me. I think I've started to become a bit of a LUMIX enthusiast, too. The GX85 was too small for my fat hands, the FZ1000 is a great bridge camera, but the G85 just has a great quality feel that is "just right." I would someday maybe want to move up to the G95 or maybe even the GH5 or G9, but right now they are just too far up there in price.

One that I want to try that is gather dust on the shelf is the 120 film Kodak No 1 "Pocket" Camera.​

Sony A65 (APS-C), Sony A99 (FF), & an iPhone X. If I had the money, I might consider Medium Format, if it had builtin GPS. I really like that feature on my Sonys.

I know there probably isn't much market demand for it, but it would be interesting to see a digital ultra large format camera. The specs on it would be insane, along with the cost. But would be fun to see.

My mother recently gave me her father's old Brownie camera. We dated it to 1921 I think (I have a letter that dates it, it's just not near me). The bellows are no longer with the camera and I'd love to see if it's fixable but I don't know anything about that style of camera. I never even knew he or she had them, but she also had an album full of images my grandad had taken with it. I'd love to use it also.

Do it... use it, try a roll of film.... I love it but it is very expensive to get processed here now - no space to do it myself.

The twins and the other 35mm film camera are all Leicas.
