100% with auto brightness. I always make it through a full work day (I usually charge it up when I get home for the evening).

how do you set the percentage or do you just have to guess?

You really have to guess. Anyways...
I keep mine on 100% in the daytime and it lasts a good amount of time on battery
Then, at night, to not blind me, I keep it to its lowest setting possible. It usually lasts a lot longer with lower brightness (as it should)

Both settings always have auto-brightness on.

I always keep auto brightness on, but it never seems to adjust or do anything. Could this possibly be because of my case or screen protector?

It only adjusts the brightness when you "slide to unlock." Once you've done that, and start using the phone, the sensor turns off (no longer adjusts the brightness).

Try to slide to unlock your phone under a bright light. Hit the sleep/wake button to lock it. Then put your finger over the sensor and slide to unlock again, you should be able to notice a dim.

I don't think your screen protector would make a difference.

Screen brightness

Was wondering how high you keep your screens brightness? I'm wondering if the majority have it at full level or keep it at around midlevel like me to conserve battery

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A400 Safari/528.16)

just over mid.

It of course varies by light conditions, but default to about 50%. If it's really sunny outdoors I might need to adjust it higher. In the evening I often slide it back a little, whatever looks right. At night I usually find anywhere from minimum to about 20% plenty.

I have my auto-brightness turned on and I usually just leave it at around 5 or 6. I rarely have it lit up more than halfway though.

Does it take a second or two for the brightness to auto-adjust? That's what seems to happen to my iPhone.

To answer the OP's question, yes, I leave the auto adjust on.

About 33%... I wish auto brightness was more dramatic like 0% complete darkness and 100% in bright days.

25-30% just about all the time, however certain times I might up it to 50% for a few minutes to read something in less lighting. The games I play on my phone like UNO seems to kill my fully charged battery in like 3 Hours, other then that I am pleased with my battery life considering what this phone does and what I use it for.

about 80-90%

I use the flashlight app more than I thought so more is better in my case. Plus, games look better brighter. Now, if Apple gave developers an option to override settings, such as brightness control for flashlight apps, then maybe I wouldn't keep it up so high.
