I bet mine is worse!

Here's one corner:

*shudder*

I want to clean your room. Mine's not spotless, but there's never anything on the floor, the bed's always made, it's the worktops that suffer, I have an empty glass and some CV's / application forms lying around that will disappear by the end of the week. I'd take a picture, only it means getting off my butt and right now i'm rather comfortable. :p

I just got a blackbook (the more-money-than sense version of the MacBook) and now I'm thinking... it's actually a little more powerful (in terms of CPU and RAM) than my iMac... but I live in a student house, so only really have the one room, and the one desk. I'd like to put my iMac somewhere else and work off my MacBook exclusively, using my iMac just for entertainment...

As it stands, I have a very small desk which handles:

iMac
Speakers (bookshelf-style monitor ones, one of which I just put in a cupboard next to my desk for added room)
Shelves on the side of the desk with 3 Lacie external HDD's (I don't delete things...)
Beer bottle
Yoghurt pot

I have quite a large room, but not enough shelves/desks...

I'm using my MacBook on my lap for the time being!

Think I'll have a tidy up tonight, see if I can organise things better...

Eluzion, that's the room I've always wanted. Looks like how I imagine the inside of a Mac looks!

Inspired by this thread, I'm moving my entire room about - Macbook/Work area will now be on one side of the room, iMac/Entertainment will be the opposite side, with my back to either side when at the other.... if you get me...

All that and a bed. Oh boy...

Who needs a bed when you have all that?

My room stays really clean. If it does get messy during the day, I clean it up (takes about 10 min.) before I go to bed. I like waking up to a clean room in the morning. I also make the bed in the morning. :)

I'll post pics as soon as I have some.

I like knowing I can walk from my bed, to the door, in complete darkness -and not step or trip on anything (other than maybe my cat).

My best friend is a girl, and I am a girl.
And I am not a lesbian, so you can see how we are on two different pages here :).

You don't seem to understand.

First - you ARE a lesbian, you're hot, and so isn't your hot friend. And you both can feel free to throw your clothes all over my floor and do what you please in here.

Because any of that could only ever happen in my dream world.... And lately I think I'd be lucky to get that much action there, either. ;)

But, now that we are back to reality, and you're not a lesbian, and your friend leaving clothes around irks you - I actually do understand.

And you should also understand that even in some strange twist of fate some girl were to decide to show up and expose her girly parts in here - no way on earth she'd stay for more than 1/220th of a second. Because that's the minimum amount of time it takes for an image to register in the human brain. Come 2/220th, she'd be on her way out. And wouldn't even considering BURNING her clothes on my floor, let alone leaving them here.

The truth is out.

And seeing the uber clean rooms of my Apple brethren - I'm now a bit ashamed to call myself a "true" Apple user. I also have a REALLY nice loft bed I want to show off to a fellow lofter in here. But can't until I clean this pit up.

To my "adversaries" - I willingly forfeit my chips - and will remunerate you both in some way. But seriously, I know I have a better hand than one of you do. (I'm going to go and change that now)

I can't function without at least a 2 inch deep layer of stuff on the floor. JK.

My room at the moment is actually pretty clean. That's only because I just moved. The room at my mom's house where I just moved from is VERY messy. Maybe I'll take a picture just so y'all can shudder at the horror. :D

Well, my ceiling is pretty clean. How's that for a comment?:D

ROFLOL :D Best reply yet!

I guess I'll bite.....

My desk is really the worst part, there are some clothes on the floor/bed but nothing terrible right now. I just cleaned about a week or 2 ago so it hasn't built up to what it usually looks like. My main issue is dishes, and midnight snack paraphernalia piling up. I tend to get food to snake on at night, then go to bed, and the plates and stuff never seem to make it back to the kitchen.

I willingly let my room enter a state of chaos, which takes around 3 weeks. Then I do a mega tidy-up and it stays beautifully clean for an hour or two. Then it gradually descends into chaos again. :)

My room is pretty clean right now.

I just rearranged it but I think I am having my walls painted because this room used to by my sisters and I hate the sage green walls.

I am ordering new night stands this week and I am buying new lamps because I knocked one off the table in my sleep and broke the shade.

I also have this huge ugly corner hutch that I don't want so its kind of in the middle of my room waiting to be moved into the basement.

My room, as seen from the iSight camera (my Sony's battery is dead at the moment). I'm surprised that my cat wasn't on the bed when I took this.

xXriderXx7, please put the subwoofer on the floor. :(

Sorry, that's a big annoyance of mine in the setups thread. Other than that, nice setup!

It's funny you mention this, because i have my sub for the Creatures on top of the hutch of my desk. People always say, "Put it on the floor, it sounds better." True, but it's so damn beautiful to look at that I have to show it off. :D
