How comfortable is Apple’s Milanese band?

I have consistently used the black Apple magnetic leather link band, even purchasing extra units from eBay after they were discontinued.

Recently, I have been thinking about the black Milanese band and would value others’ impressions. How comfortable is it? Is the black finish PVD and durable over time? How hard is it to adjust the size? Does the catch function reliably? I plan to wear it with my Slate/black S11 Ti and new S12 Ti.

It just arrived and I am impressed so far. Not as easy to put on and take off as my magnetic leather link band but we will see. The 14-day day return policy ruled!

Be very careful putting on and taking off the watch with that band. It can easily scratch your watch.

I heard that before buying, so I am proceeding with caution. I valued the magnetic leather link because it allowed immediate adjustment for a workout. I prefer a slightly loose fit for daily use but need to tighten it for the heart rate function during exercise. The Milanese band cannot be adjusted on the fly. It will likely be returned.

I really like my black Milanese band. I find it very comfortable to wear, easy to adjust as my wrist expands and contracts with temperature and easy to take on and off. I've had mine since getting my AW11 last September and neither the band nor the watch show any signs of wear and tear from the band and taking the watch on and off.

This has been my experience as well. At least with the original Apple Milanese band

I have one, wore it for a few weeks and gave up on it. I move around a lot for my job and the magnet slowly loosens throughout the day. If I had a sit down desk job, I think I would have liked it a lot more.

I believe they updated it recently with that clasp. I was going to give that one a try, but ended up with the Nomad stratos band instead, which I think is very comfortable.
