Don't worry - I will be the last person to ask about the ETA on your jailbreak since I'm still jailbroken on iOS 7 with no plans to upgrade. But thanks for your concern.

If I were a betting man (which I'm not), I would bet that a jailbreak for iOS 9 won't be released until November. Just cause Apple will probably release a quick iOS 9.1 on top of iOS 9 - beta already out I believe. And no point in wasting the jailbreak if it could get patched before a quick major upgrade. There may even be a 9.2 that it waits for.

I have no problem waiting until 9.2 or even a bit further if that's what it takes for Apple to get it right without problems. I have my iP6 jailbroken on 8.4 that I will use when I get bored with my 6s

What I am looking forward to is what jailbraking tweaks can bring to 3D touch.

I can only imagine the opportunities for options and other animations and controls/functions from anywhere with a JB 6S and 3D touch customizations.
It will be awesome:D

That makes the 1k iPhone I bought worth it lol.

Imo a jb iPhone might be the best combination on a smartphone.

Damn, $1K sounds up there:D What model did you get?
But most definitely a JB iphone is the best when it comes to customization, usability and adding on the options the the user wants and needs that are not available by Apple or the app store.
Freedom is great:D

I have had a hard enough time wrapping my brain around the options available to me right now via Activator and Flipswitch.

Adding this is indeed going to be awesome and brain-numbing all at the same time. So many options to choose for how you want to do something!

I'm guessing you looked like your avatar when you handed over the payment? ;)

Lol. It's a lot but I don't mind paying for what I think is the best smartphone experience. I take comfort knowing my unlimited everything plan is like 15 a month.

I've ordered my 6s in space grey and I also when for the 128gb again, I have used over 100gb on my 6 at the moment. £699 over here in the UK without apple care because I have full cover from my bank.

Nice. I actually have like 60 gb left on my 6 now. But I figure 12 mp pics, live photos, possible 4k would mean I'd like the 128 gb

So was is your 6s exactly $1000 with apple care+ because if so we get a **** deal here. £699 here is $1078

Still worth it I think.

1032.81 after tax. 128 gb rose gold 6s with AppleCare plus.

As I thought then, **** deal for us here, a well. We still get great resale here though. I was offered £575/$880 for my phone yesterday. I'm not selling it but he asked if I was going to when I get the 6s and when I said no plans to he asked if I would for £575

Slightly OT but since we're talking about price. Always irks me when I see the US price.

In the UK the base model 16gb is £540 which is $824 When in actual fact in the U.S. The base model is $649 which is £422.

Why does it cost us £140 more than the U.S.?

Apple are is now also £109 which is $167

So to buy a base model with AppleCare it cost US residents $779 it cost a UK resident $995.

I think you will have to thank Mr. Cameron and his counterparts before him for that.

1 word. VAT. we get charged 20% tax on everything regardless of where we are in the UK, so every price is listed as the amount you will pay. In america it is different state to state so they give the pre-tax amount then add it on at the checkout. When I've been in america I've liked the lower prices but hated having to try and work out what I will end up actually paying.

And the tax varies by location.

My local Walmart adds three levels of tax. City tax, county tax and state tax. That took some getting used to because where I come from in California there is only state tax.

So how much with tax does a base model 6s cost?

Its all about currency exchange and extra taxations in different countries.
You can always grab a redeye or a standby by going to the airport, come to the US for a 1-2 days vacation for cheap since part of the cost would be the difference, buy the phone, walk around and eat some burgers and apple pie then get back over the pond. lol

Great idea but I think that could cost the above poster a little more than 140 pounds.
If he has someone that goes back and forth to the U.S. he could give him the money to bring him one back and save some money.
