Agreed, Hence the reason I will pursue a MacPro if the latest incarnation of IMac is without a graphics boost.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the "white IMac?" From the apple store and the top of the line 2.8 Extreme machine, the exact video card quote is;
"ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory"
Is this machine available in white with a better GPU? It does look from the store site to be the brushed aluminum that I have seen in the Apple store...
Again...I am a relatively new Mac User, so if there is a better graphics solution, by all means...let me know!
I have to restrain myself to the IMacs....because I have no self-control when I start trying to configure a Mac Pro...my machine always ends up costing 7 or 8 large...and I haven't even chosen a monitor!
