Just set it up.

In the end I set up the password protected folder on the iCloud . I figure I want it avail on all my gadgets, not just the Mac. Also, cloud backup incase Mac nicked etc.


- It takes ages to sync! The Finder icon has a piechart slowly completing when I unmount the password protected volume. Only 3 files in there at the moment, so can see why 256 password encryption is not the recommended option!

- Set on the 128 password encryption.

Hi a,

Rubbish. I just tried to open this folder on the iPad and the iPhone, and it doesn’t open.

This will only open on the Mac.

Oh well! So this is my back up, at the very last resort, if things go south, that can be opened by the Mac 🙂
