Going to see which ones are free and give them a go. Not sure I'm ready to start buying things before I see how good they are.

Anyone have any input on which ones perform better?

1. Download this https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1022177308
2. Go to settings > Safari > Content Blockers > Enable Crystal.
3. Enjoy

It says "installs directly into safari".

I know this content blocking is new - but, is the "installing into" a specific app a first time thing in iOS 9?

I'm trying to think of another instance in which this'd be necessary and cannot.

Anyone have experience removing ad blockers from iPhone? Delete app&app data like any other? No harm done?

Correct. Delete as you would any other app.

It's an App you download from the Appstore. It's install method is similar to how 3rd party keyboards work.

Thanks! I'm trying Purify. Working great so far. But not blocking my favorite Apple sites, including this one. I'm not seeing a hit on performance so far.

I am blocking the hell out of this site in regards to ads. It's absurd really. I would rather pay a fee than see ads that mean nothing to me. We're inundated with ads everywhere - forced on us, shoved down our throats, plastered everywhere. If I see an ad, I don't want whatever it's selling - instantly.

Got Crystal installed. OMG! It's so nice not to have ads on websites now. Holy hell!!! Best feature yet of IOS 9 by far!

Just FYI (for anyone who didn't know, as I didn't) - these content blockers - or at least the ones I initially checked out - seem to be compatible only w/iPhone 5S and later...

Apparently it's a 64-bit requirement thing. Although I feel (hope!) it might be possible to compile an open source ad blocker and sideload it with Xcode 7 onto 32-bit devices.
