Maybe I just don't understand the capabilities/differences from app to app..someone enlighten me..

I'm using crystal - tried loading a test page like yahoo.com.

Some stories wouldn't load their photos and the "continue reading.." button wouldn't work to open the rest of the article. I then loaded the page without the blocker and all worked as normal. If that happens on yahoo, I'm sure it will happen on other sites as well.

Again, using crystal on an iPhone 6.

Is there a blocker out there that truly only kills ads and nothing else?

It's all still really new. The more people that use it and report issues, the better it will become. That's any content blocker.

Fair, I suppose. lol

Tend to be a bit impatient at times. Should've figured something less than 24 hours old might need some tweaking here or there

Do these apps also prevent the marketers from grabbing your data, etc.? That is much more of a problem for me than the ads, though I would love to be able to do both.

So many blockers... Still trying to see what's the best to install only one :D
I'm using Crystal now and it's GREAT!
They told me they are making an OS X version as well.
Safari on my iPhone and iPad are actually faster with all the ads removed.

In using Peace. So far it has been what I would expect from a Ghostery based content blocker. Very minor complaint is that many of the empty add locations are still present rather than also being removed. Everything is so fast though that I'm still very pleased with my purchase.
