Anyone else think of the fact that this is an unfinished product? There's probably features that they're working on. For all we know, there could be a totally different shortcut when 4.0 is final.

I can see where this is going...

Just wait for OS 5

Jobs: To access iPod just tap and hold for two seconds, then apply a quick double tap followed by a 1.67second pause followed by an array of single taps with each finger. Put into preheat oven to bake @ 300 degrees and enjoy listening to music on your iPhone!

One button can only extend so far.

Yeah, that tap and hold thing doesn't work. I tried it and it just opens the whole iPod app.

Plus they got rid of ALL of the Home Button preferences. I hope that's just temporary.

Don't count on it. Double-click is now the exclusive property of the app switcher. There won't be an option to change that.

The click-hold for the iPod was probably added as an afterthought because Apple predicted this thread. If I was that dependent on getting to the iPod in a hurry I'd put it in the dock, but that's just me.

All you have to do is hold down the button for 1second after tapping it..? I don't see how that's such an inconvience? Not like it takes that much longer than it used to..
