I'm happy with 18 but I'm still intrigued by Liquid Glass and the other features. I might wait 3-6 months after release depending on the reviews and tweaks.

I’m just holding out until after DB2 for DB3 or PB1 depending on the general forum consensus and issues reported once it’s released. Once we get to a build that looks a bit more stable then on to my daily driver 15 it’ll go!

here too. but seriously: how many ppl have more than one iphone? (just curious)
I keep my older iPhones, so I have an iPhone Xʀ (on iOS 12) alongside my 16 Plus. I know some people have older (but relatively recent iPhones), and they like to try betas on them.

I'll be installing it on my personal phone sometime around beta 4, and will stay on the beta releases through the RC and GA releases. I've done it this way for years, and it's usually solid enough for daily use by beta 4.

Probably not many. Most trade in to upgrade.
I have an OG SE that I keep for…whatever reason. Emergency? Though I would have to get a physical sim.
I just like to try the betas out and they are rarely unstable enough to cause major issues anymore.

It's already on my daily driver. The main issue is one of my banking apps doesn't work, but most of the other ones do. Also, it heats up the phone more under any significant use, but so far battery hasn't been too bad, I guess because I just got a new battery recently.

Funnily enough my trade-in didn't actually require a trade in somehow. I bought out the SE3, used it as a "trade-in" to get the promo of half off my 15 Pro, and they said I could keep it.

Who did? Your carrier? In any case, that's great!

BTW, Apple did take my XR when I traded it in last week as expected. However, fortunately they gave me the full trade-in value even though it was actually not functional. The techs at the Apple Store didn't care. As long as it passed the trade-in tests, they were happy to take it, despite knowing there was likely a logic board issue. It would reboot every few minutes, despite having had a complete restore. Luckily, a couple of minutes was all it needed to complete the trade-in tests.

Carrier trade through Verizon. It was all online too.

I will wait for the reviews and feedback from other users. I am excited to see the upcoming updates, but it's better to wait and get suggestions from others.
