I think it was called 6 Plus back then.What’s a “6max”?
Nothing, there's no such thing, hahaha, how about a 6 plus.What’s a “6max”?
iPhone 4S 32 Go (2 years 2011-2013)
iPhone 5S 64 Go (3 years 2013-2016, battery replaced for free in Apple Store juste before 2 years mark (in France it's possible if you are below 80-85% battery health in less than 2 years, sold at €260)
iPhone 7 128Go (4 years 2016-2020, battery replaced for free in Apple Store juste before 2 years mark, sold at €220)
iPhone 12 256 Go (expected : 3 years minimum, can be up to 4 years again, depending on innovation/leaks)
All iPhone bought day one with decent storage, since I don't like iCloud and use a lot of storage![]()
What was your Sony Xperia? I actually enjoy the Sony version of the Android OS. It is really stable, great RAM optimization, good UX in terms of settings organization, great battery life. I do not enjoy their cameras that much and yep Sony failed miserably on the mobile market so I am not sure that soon people outside of Japan will find Xperia phones.Every two years in November of an even year for me.
My First phone was a Flip Phone from Samsung when I was 13. Then my mum's old Nokia after she finally got her first iPhone in June 2010 (3GS) I was there when she got it, after that it was a crappy Samsung (Cheap Model) that really didn't work.
Then I got a Telstra branded phone for $50. Eventually I got my mum's old 3GS which somehow got stolen on a tram. After that I got a Sony Xperia which is probably the best Android Phone I've had. After that I got a Galaxy S4 in January 2014 but come December 2014, i finally got an iPhone 6 and it's been iPhone ever since. In November 2016 I got an iPhone 7. In November 2018: XS Max and finally my current phone which I got in November 2020: 12 Pro Max. I have to admit, if Sony was still selling Xperia in Australia, I'd be tempted to give them another chance.
My bad, it's simply the french term. What does the Go stand for? Gogabyte?
My bad, it's simply the french term.
Go stands for Gigaoctet, this term is used by everyone including Apple for storage in consumer electronics in France. It's just French version of Gb.
You know when your brain work mainly in French and you write stuff quickly, sometimes, you can find froggy terms that miraculously skipped the translation phase.![]()
I posted this and things changed. Suddenly my deaf ears couldn't hear the people when they called me. Nothing that I can see why but my dear husband told me to call apple. In reality it wasn't thought apple in the long run but through Verizon that I got a different phone and turning in my ipx for a trade in. I am not sure I am very happy with this iphone 12 just yet and nothing I have attempted has been easy as it was with my ipx.We are retired and my husband got me the flagship iPhone 10. It took 2 years to pay off and I had the apple care. A month before it was paid off the phone started ghost texting and I was told the brain was going out and they sent me a new one. I will have this phone until it breaks. It works and is still in mint condition. To pay another $1000 for another phone with our income would be a major hardship anyway.
It was a cheap Xperia E. Although it was a good phone. Got the job done. What was your Sony Xperia? I actually enjoy the Sony version of the Android OS. In terms of my upgrade cycle it used to be 2 years I think. My first smartphone was Sony Xperia phone with full qwerty keyboard that I bought I believe in 2011 (to this day I must say that this was the best phone in terms of design I had, so compact and yet full keyboard). Loved that phone but man Android 4 got old really fast. Then I had LG for 2 years, then Sony Xperia Compact, then another Sony Xperia Compact and now the iPhone 12 Pro.
