I could not do this. I mean my life is a ball of stress as it is, but I can't imagine getting enough work done to feed myself in 8 hours of being awake.

I would probably be dead if i ever slept that much in my life. Considering I am either at school or at work for at least 16 hours of the day...ugh

Ditto.

I'm usually up at 6 a.m. and finishing up work at 9 to 10 p.m.

Weekdays I'll sleep from 9:30 pm until 6 am, then 5pm until 7pm.
Weekends I might sleep 16 - 18 hours each day.

But I'm still shattered all the time.

I get to bet around 10 pm if i can and wake up naturally around 7.30 -- if i'm in the pool at 6. 30am then i usually take an hour or two nap mid-day

wednesdays i work from 3pm till around 9am thursday morning -- so i usually get to sleep at around noon by the time i get myself together out of the office and drive home, and eat something, then i'll sleep till around 9pm -- wake up, have some electrolyte rich fluid (like a powerade), another meal, and then go back to sleep around sleep around 10.30 and wake up at around 9am

i like my 9 or 10 on days after my heavy training days, 6 - 8 on my lighter days, and then around 16 - 18 after a long work day like the one on wednesdays.

3 hours of acctual sleep, 4 hours of laying about doing screw all thinking about things.

I sleep at 2am-3am "nomally", i wake up at 10am-11am. Sometimes i used to sleep at 1:30am and wake up at 3am sometimes i sleep from 6am till 12am it all depends.

6.5 to 7.5 usually but there are times when I feel that I can't get out of bed after 8 hours and other times when I sleep for 4 and wake up bright as a button. Just depends...

Don't you just hate those occasions though when you go to sleep and wake up feeling refreshed, only to look at the alarm clock and realise than only an hour has passed and you need to get back to sleep?

I'm currently out of a job right now, so I sleep anywhere between 10-12 hrs.

I get about 6 hours of sleep during the week, and make up the deficit during the weekends.

Six hours at the most.

Although I need to break my habit of falling asleep with the TV on - bad habit.... especially since I can't do the mid-day siesta / nap when I can student sleep schedule.

I typically get to bed at about 10:30 - 11:00, and then get up at 7 for work at 8. On the weekends I sleep in a bit, but like Mav said above I don't sleep in for as long as I used to.

Weekdays because of school i'll sleep about 6-7 hours at night and nod off in the afternoon for about half an hour, weekends i try to get about 10-12 but it all depends on the schedule. My sleep in time is about 11 hours max unless i'm really dead and i try to get that as much as i can ;)

I only sleep for about four to six hours a night but have a catchup every month or so of eight hours. I don't need much sleep. Sleep is time I can't be posting at MacRumors in. :(

Although you cant really catch up on sleep. But on the weekends I can let my body naturally wake me up, versus getting up to that stupid buzzer.

How long do I sleep?

Well I'm about 6'2" lying down, but often wake up with a few extra inches;)
