I've had my MacBook for 8 months. Had to take it in for repairs about a month ago because the fan started to sound like a chainsaw. They changed the top case too, getting rid of the discoloration and mushy mouse button, too.

Other than that, It's been a great time! I'm not going back to Windows any time soon. :)

I have had a Macbook since June 06 now awaiting a replacement black Macbook. If a new one comes out I might also have to switch to the new one.

I've had my macbook 2.ghz white since it first came out, only had 2 problems...1 i accidentally deleted half of OSX's system files(dont ask how), and 2 my magsafe got frayed, so i had to get a new one, other then that, my MB has been awsome... i spent the whole first day playing with front row:p..

Two days. I just sold my 17" G4 Powerbook and used the money to offset the purchase of a 15" MBP. Thank goodness for the Apple Rebate! :)

next computer iPhone/tablet

Had mine black MacBook (stock, 80GB HD and 512MB RAM) since June 06'. My next one will be an iPhone, and for work, whatever, Dell S%^t they give me. I'm saying this with hesitation, because I'm counting on the fact the Google provides a reasonable preforming spreadsheet on a small form factor such as the iPhone and or tablet 2 to 3 years down the road. If this is the case, then so long laptop. The laptop today (MacBook and Pros included) is clunky and not condusive for personal use. Although, I will try to bargain for a Mac Pro at work or at least an iMac (yes, running Vista through BootCamp, there are software that will never be written for OSX).

I bought my MBP in December. I love it to pieces, but it's just had to go in for a service with multiple issues and had its logic board (power management issues and would not sleep), bluetooth module (failed completely) and top case (misalignment with track pad) all replaced in one fell swoop!

To be fair, I didn't even notice the issue with the top case, but the workshop manager did and fixed this too - great customer service! :)

I have mine since 31may

2 topcase replacements and RSS fix since...

luckily this is not my first mac :p

I prefer my G5 but this one has made shooting on location easier even tough its as slow as hell with rosetta running Photoshop...

I have a batteryproblem and sometimes screenflickering now... but when I have time I'll bring it in for a checkup wich will be nr3 then...

not my best mac ever (the G5 is)

6 fantastic months so far...

had my Core Duo MBP 15" since august...not long after, the C2D's came along and i was sad, but i really couldn't be happier with my baby!

had the hard drive replaced at 2 weeks, which wasn't a big deal. since then, i haven't had a problem.

i've also had a G4 iBook 14" since may of 2004 and have never had issues with anything. :)
