I use my iphone's charger to charge my iPad. I prefer slow charging rather than fast charging. Better for the battery's health!;)

I was reading ifixit n they took apart the ipad2. according to them it's a very large battery in there. I wonder if that could be the case.

I Totally discharged my ipad2 and it took me all night & a few hrs of the day to charge it back to 100% using the included wall charger.

I wonder if this is a issue that can b fixed by apple.

The reason I ask is I left mine in the box using my perfectly fine iPhone 4 cable, iPad is somewhat slow charging doubt that's the reason though.

Ohoh! I'm doing the same. But you know why? I looked in the apple website & they only have 1 kind of dock connector. So Im guessing the cable isn't the issue.

I've had an ipad since the 3g launch last year. I have always been impressed with the battery life. I got a 32 wifi ipad 2 on launch day. I am now charging it for my 3rd time.

I can't help but notice how much longer it is taking to get to a 100% charge than the original ipad did. I've had it connected for four hours this morning and it is only at 82%.

Anyone else experiencing the same?
It depends.
If you charge iPad from original 12 volts it would take 2 hours
If you charge iPad from iPhone "5 volts " or adopter or power bank would take 5 hours
If you charge iPad from Bluetooth speaker that is 40 watts like Xb41 or Xtreme 2 or
studio 5, boombox would take 7 hours
Now if you try to charge your iPad VIA iPad Pro 2018, Laptop, and desktop would drain it first unless it is charged. Assuming those devices were plugged in would take at least 10 to 12 hours

2018 was still about 7 years in the future when it comes to this thread.

Seems like it was all already addressed years and years ago.
