Two to four weeks, hopefully sooner, since I cannot yet use OS X 10.10 Yosemite as fully as I really need to for my primary OS. It is a shame, that Apple would release such buggy software to the public like that. Almost all of my applications broke, and now I have to make due with silly alternatives.
They were much better when Woz was still around during the Tiger days.

Yosemite isn't released to the public.

and to those that don't understand the whole process behind it or by claiming Apple because "they know" non developers will use it, then I say tough chit. Grow up and take a little responsibility and stop blaming a company for problems you should not even be having. You put yourself in this spot, the company that "put out this public OS" also has this neat tool where you can report your problem so that they can fix it so you can complain less but then again I wouldn't expect someone skirting the system to even bother with trying to help fix something they seem to want to use so bad.

Oh man, come on. I cannot list them here, they are not healthy. And please re-read post #6 and highlight the first sentence.

See, a cat bit her own tail while performing surgery on the dock.

I can't be bothered to go back and read all of the posts in a thread before I post a comment. C'mon now, read the first few and then make a reply based on said post.

I'm having some iOS 7 flashbacks here.

(during beta testing period)

"Hey guys I'm having some huge issues with iOS 7."
"IT'S A BETA!!!"

(after GM)

"Hey guys I'm having some huge issues with iOS 7."
"What are you talking about? I have never had any problems and this is the most amazing product I've ever used. Go buy a Scamsung xDDDD"

This is exactly what i feel happens.
People are biased either way.
You may love OSX, but until 10.9.2 ii can say it was plagued with bugs. And if you didnt have any, then you were one of the lucky ones.

It's better to be lucky than good.;)

Sorry, I cannot be bothered to take this serious either. Anyway, good luck taking my post seriously, since you cannot be bothered to find out the truth.

I better be off, since spinach is waiting. And Veronica.

You did say it when sarcasm doesn't carry over to written word very well, either way we can move on.

Have any olive oil for that spinach?

Wait.

It's a bare bones preview OS (as the release name states), which is made for developers to allow them test the compatibility of their apps and adjust their UI accordingly to new design.

yet a whole bunch of Apple's own iapps aren't even compatible? What's wrong with that picture? Seems a bit premature to even release a developer "preview" version to me.

technically speaking you aren't supposed to even try that OS yet, let alone judge it (I'am assuming you are not developer, for obvious reasons) :) If Apple could somehow give it ONLY to developers who desperately need it for their work, you bet they would.

Na, I mostly use butter and onions. Man, now I am getting hungry? What is the matter with you. Luckily my partying streets have 24 hour open supermarket, probably full of drunks now. Tomorrow. Now I just eat Haloumi.

When Apple releases a DP or beta of their OS, they are fully aware, that non-developers will also get their hands on, thus they should take extra care to release a stable built

I still can't tell if this is trolling. This is a literal translation of what you just said:

"When Apple releases a closed Developer Preview of their OS, they should be fully aware that I'd illegally pirate it and circumvent the paid Developer Program, thus they should spend extra effort to make sure I can use it as my primary OS."

What???

I want to use a similar argument and yell at the cashier at my local gas station if I ever decide to take a different path in life and rob him to help fund my drug habit for Apple products. He should be fully aware it'd happen and take care to ensure that he has a nice stack of $20s on hand. I can't run very far from the cops with pockets full of quarters, after all.

Since you haven't read the entire thread yet, maybe revisit post #6, highlight the first line of mine and read that line.

And some other posts of mine should also hint to my borderline sarcasm, since these DP threads happen every year with Mac OS X, and everyday we see those "I want "DP minus infinity" to use as my primary OS but Apple again did put out a beta full of bugs, though I will not tell you what I did to install the beta on my unknown hardware - in other words, I just wanted to show my own stupidity by posting this" threads, thus, and because I am YT commentator, I wanted to have some fun.

Of what? A grinning grimace does not clarify things, especially for a social idiot like me.

Post #6, first line. Highlight it.

Why? Because you suck at sarcasm? One shouldn't have to search posts for hidden words in order to detect sarcasm. If that's the only way you can make it clear you're being sarcastic, then you're really bad at it.

Of course I am bad at it. This is not my forte, especially in written form.

Or come to think of it, maybe you and I are not on the same wavelength, thus you just missed my genial sarcasm?

Whatever it is, go on, continue shutting off your brain and do whatever you want. I am over at another forum getting my rage done.

Man, people are so impolite sometimes.

Funny how you attempt to call me out for being impolite just after doing the same thing yourself. Some people are just so full of themselves they don't even realize when they're being obnoxious jerks. For the record, I appreciate and enjoy well-done sarcasm, which is not what you attempted here. It's not my problem that you lack the ability to be sarcastic and clever at the same time.

I realize, when I am a jerk.

And yes, my sarcasm is not as clever as you are used to, and if you would know me in real life, you would probably get tired of it, since I have used it a lot.

Now let's continue on the topic at hand please, it is important, that users should know the truth about betas.

Have a good weekend, if you have one.
