How long was your reservation wait?

Happy to report that we now have two 32GB wi-fi iPads. They had them and thanks very much again for letting me know about it. I would not have called the store today and it was very pleasant surprise to end up getting the iPads on the same day that we got out iPhones. Gadgetgasm!
Ordered mine instore at Regents St a week ago, just recieved a 'A note about your iPad request' 'You're moving up the priority list'
Hoping this means ill get mine in a few days, or is this just wishful thinking. Id love to get it today, before the weekend. Not hopeful though

We reserved two at the Bridgewater, New Jersey store last Saturday and we received the "You're moving up the priority list" email yesterday. Thanks to prtcool1193 and this forum, I found out that they got a bunch of iPads in yesterday and we were able to pick ours up, but we never did get an email saying that our reserved iPads came in.
I would definitely recommend calling the store to be sure. Just wait it out on hold (they're certainly busy with the iPhone 4 launch). When I called yesterday, there were 8 calls ahead of me, but it didn't take all that long to get someone on the phone.

I had a pre-order and waited a little over 4 hours. This was at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg IL. It wasn't so bad except the guy behind me wouldn't stop trying to talk to me and the folks around us. I honestly do not know why he was waiting. He kept bad mouthing the iPhone and Apple and kept saying how great Droid was. After 2-3 hours of his rambling he finally left the line because he had to go to work. After he left the time flew by.
I'm bored of waiting already and I only joined the list on Wednesday....I hope they hurry up!
Same Same, ordered a 64gb on the 23rd for a delivery on the 9th of July. Just hoping that 64's aren't in as much demand and it'll get here earlier.
I've already waited over 14 days for one of those, reserved at 3 different apple stores. Don't hold your breath
I got my email today for my 32Gb wifi! I was put on the list on Wednesday so 4 days wait, I expected a lot longer. I'm off to pick it up tomorrow - can't wait to get it but I cant miss the England v Germany match either!

I'm also going to be checking every day in the morning when I'm there and at best buy on 5th ave.
What do you think the chances of me getting one are?

In Va I been able to walk into best buy and pickup 3 64's of the shelf each time I have gone. They have Been like this since release. They even told me they only had one 32gb in stock at one point but when he open the storage cabinet the thing was full with every model. This was a couple of days after release. The guy even told me that they have to make out they have less in stock than they really do and at time even have to tell people they have none when they really do. I have bought 4 in total now since release and all were walk in and no pre orders. Why they tell you they have none for I will never know.
I called the fairview store in toronto ontario today at 12pm, and they had 50 ipad 32gb wifi's.. nothing else. At 4pm, they had 30 left. im getting mine in the morning 
My wife ordered the 64 wifi only at our local Apple store in Houston the day before Father's day. Almost a week later, I called the store and they said they are all out and do not know when they will get the next shipment. Later that day, I checked Best Buy's site and they had store that had an iPad. I picked up the 64 3G model and couldn't be happier! The store only had 1 left after I bought mine!
Depends on where you are... Call in and talk to your local stores.. if they dont have any, ask how long the reservation wait is. Check apples online site and see how long the wait is there for one too, and chose which ones is a shorter period of time..
