How many are/have Jailbroken

Jailbroken and never looked back. I was scared at first and put it off for the first 6 months or so that I had the phone. Ever since, I've loved it with never any thoughts of reverting back and I never update to any new firmware or software updates unless I know it wont harm my jailbreak and I find the time to update and re-jailbreak during the same time period.
You have to jailbreak. It is ponitless to have an iphone and not jailbreak. TRUST ME! You got any questions about jailbreaking, then PM me! And Ill be glad to help you out and give you ssome tips and tricks!

There is no hassle. Now you can jailbreak an iPod in 3 mins, if that!
Its way worth jailbreaking. If you don't then it's just a regular suckish unjailbroken iPhone. Nothing much to it.

I couldn't wait to Jailbreak my phone. Also, whenever I show a friend an App that I got from Cydia, they go to their app store and say where is that!!!?!. Then I get to explain what they're missing out on.

If I lose the jailbreaking ability I will have no reason to stay with ATT.
I simply dont like the standard phone.
I bought a car once that had all the options I wanted but wasn't the color I wanted. I regretted buying that car from day 2.
I wouldnt stay with the iphone if Apple prevents jailbreaking and not allowing users to personalize their phones.
If that was today, T-mobile and the my touch would be my next purchase

Jailbreak for features I crave apple gave us. *cough* iRealQuickSMS*cough*. Plus I'm on T-Mobile.
If Apple had some of these apps, multi-tasking and backgrounder, I wouldn't have to Jailbreak....
I jailbroke within about a month of having my phone, wrecked it with Winterboard then went back to stock.

I've jailbroken mine twice but each time, I've put it back to standard. Why? - cos it made the phone really slow and unresponsive. Plus, I was worried that if it ever crashed on me and I ended up taking it back to the Apple Store, they wouldn't touch it. Once it's out of warranty I may look at it again, but for now, it stays as standard.

I Jailbroke 2 iPhones (2G and 3G) but I probably won't do it anymore because it now supports video capture with the supplied OS.
Removing the 3G/wifi restrictions is reason enough for me to jailbreak (not only Skype calls over 3G but also YouTube HQ, App Store + iTunes >10MB, etc) ...
All of the other stuff (SBSettings, Backgrounder+Kirikae, WinterBoard, etc) is just icing on the cake. Very sweet, incredibly delicious icing, but still ...

I haven't jailbroken my phone, not because its dumb but rather I choose not too.
To that end, I think the wording and selection of the poll is lacking. I believe many people don't jail break for various reasons not just because its dumb.
For me, the risk vs. the reward is such I choose not too, in other words, I see no benefit for jailbreaking but the risk of bricking the phone or possibly running into warranty issues down the road is such that its just not worth it.

I don't have time to mess with jailbreaking. I also need everything working within the established specs. My iPhone is a tool I use every day for personal and business reasons. I don't need to be opening myself up to possible issues.
With that said though, it is tempting to jailbreak just to remove the wifi restriction. If AT&T doesn't remove that soon, I see jailbreaking in the near future.

Chris, I have a friend that uses his iphone for his business so he didn't want to risk someting going wrong with his phone. He ended up getting a second 3G which he jailbroke and just swapped the sims when he wanted to play.
Now both are jailbroken and he simply carries the second one in his computer bag just in case.
After jailbreaking the spare one he saw that he could customize backgrounds and wallpaper to his company logo's.
You should not be afraid to jailbreak. This idea that somehow the phone becomes unstable because of jailbreaking is folly. They only common issue is when people load their phone down with all kinds of junk. This is exactly the same case when someone has upwards 80 processes running in Windows... things slow down.
I also use my phone for business and personal and have the apps that compliment this. No problems and yes, my phone may be a few seconds slower over the day switching between apps, but the extra benefits far outweigh the slight increase of speed non-jailbroken phones have. Just my two cents.
