How many credit/debit cards do you have linked to Apple Pay?

I.... Apple isn't helping the situation as they don't set up a website for users to report problems.

What can Apple do if they knew what stores had problems? Apple doesn't own those stores.

Why would stores want to make it easier for Apple to take a cut of each transaction with Apple pay? Apple doesn't provide any incentive for stores to be Apple pay compatible. Same problem with TV, Apple doesn't provide any incentive to have them sign up with Apple.

Just one tied to my checking account. I don't use credit cards. That said, I have used it maybe 5 times at the same vending machine for diet coke. I cannot say I have found it to be conveneint.

None, because I don't know how many merchants use it in Va.Beach. I know at my work the samsung pay
works, but don't know if apple pay works. I should try it some day.

I have none and still don't get how Apple pay is more convenient than using the card directly

I have to go into my handbag, root around for my purse, find my card and take it out and then place it on the terminal. Using Apple Pay all I have to do is double press a button on my Apple Watch and hold it over the terminal and I'm done. Much quicker.

I disagree. The incentive is I (and others felt the same way) do not stop going to their stores. This is the only reason any store accept other forms of payment besides cash.

As for Apple, did you think it is out of line for Apple to contact the head offices (say of McD's), and advise them (unhappy) customers are reporting issues with their Apple Pay? Of course there is something that could be done. They are still trying to establish Apple Pay in Canada. The last thing they want is an image of "it doesn't work, don't bother".

It's not a huge deal or life changing or anything, but I can definitely get my phone out of my pocket and hold it over a scanner for a second faster than I can get my wallet out of my pocket, find my debit card, insert it into the card reader, enter my PIN, choose checking or savings account, and wait for it to authorize.

Once it becomes more universal, it also means being able to leave my debit/credit cards at home, meaning less to worry about if my wallet is lost or stolen.

Once Apple Pay is more widely accepted, I may use it.

But thus far, Google Wallet on my Nexus 6P has been extremely convenient, fast and useful.

It's just easier, simpler and more convenient IMO.
If you dont like to use it that is fine. With Apple pay you dont even need to bring your wallet with you.
Put your phone near the credit card terminal and put your thumbprint on the touch ID.
Done, payment made.
Tokenized method does not use or reveal your real credit card number and expiration date to the particular merchant.
Store/company gets hacked like Target or Home depot for example and they get thousands of credit card accounts the account number they have for you will be useless to hackers since they will not be able to use it to make unauthorized purchases.
Its an extra layer of security and also more convenient than carrying cards with you that they might be lost/stolen or even skimmed at various locations.
It's a good option to have I think and hope more and more merchants start accepting it. It will also make their liability of fraud way less than current credit/debit card only terminals.

One debit card. Since we have a limit of £30 here in the UK there is no point in adding credit card.

You are mostly correct, but the £30 limit is a retailer choice. Waitrose used to be without that limit, M&S (I believe), and a few other retailers (including Apple Stores) don't have the £30 limit.

I have my debit card and my credit card linked - they're the only ones I have. I have started to use it more often now as my new debit card isn't contactless so it's easiest to use Apple Pay on my watch than to use my credit card.

Which Wegmans?

I frequent the Chestnut Hill one and it works great there, but have also used it at the Westwood and Burlington ones recently.
Burlington, MA (we live in North Reading now).
It worked when they first got their terminals. I think chip cards did too. Then they just... turned it all off lol.
