iPad 4, nook hd, kindle fire hd, and gtab pro 8.4.. With an 8" insignia windows tab coming as a Christmas gift. Got all of them (but the iPad) on killer deals.

For "serious" use, it's the iPad, but the gtab pro 8.4 is moving up a close second. With better performance (thanks ios8 for torpedoing my iPad performance), split screen, and support for my Motorola BT keyboard w/trackpoint, and MS Office for Android preview, it is becoming a slick little package.

Almost forgot... I also have an iPad 1 that serves as the "picture tube" for a vintage TV.

Its a sad day when a Samsung Tablet running lagwiz has better performance than an iPad.

Currently only have an iPad Mini which takes care of most of my tablet needs although I would like to be able to get more done. Gave my mother the iPad 3 64GB LTE which she uses everyday. Might have an HP Steam 7 coming my way shortly however.

The Nook isn't used much any longer. The TouchPad is still going strong on Android ; the wife and family love it. The Note is my personal "no one touches it" device. We got the iPad just recently for some of the apps for the kids. So still playing with it.

Technically I own four tablets

Actually I really only have one, as my wife, and two kids have their own but I was the one who purchased them :D

I see little need for multiple tablets but by the same token, I saw a HP win8 tablet on sale for 99 bucks. I use Office a lot and I like win8, so I'm a little tempted by this. I think it may end up being a waste of money, since I'll probably not use it that much since my rMini can easily run windows.

Yeah that dont count, lol. My Wife and Kids have one as well but i myself dont have a tablet. Id like to get a Nexus 9 but its going to have to wait.

Too many, I have an iPad Mini 2, iPad Air 1, HP Stream 7, Nokia Lumia 2520 and a Kindle Fire 1.

I am actually kind of favoring the HP Stream 7 right now. Nice little device, full Windows and very portable.

I am still trying to find a reason for me to buy one. I gave it one for my family, my bro has one, but for me I really cannot find a reason to get it.
I do prefer so much more a laptop.
For the portability now a phone has everything you can need. Maybe it depends also on your life style, for a taxi driver for instance it would be indispensable to have it, or if you spend so much time around with no access to a real laptop.

My parents love it, they do prefer it to a real computer, since it is easier and faster to use.

I think having two tablets is a waste. Find a tablet that's the perfect size for you instead of having two different sizes. You'll probably mostly use one tablet anyway. I have an iPad Air and a Nexus 7, and I only used my Nexus 7 regularly for 4 months. I bought it because I didn't want to spend money on an iPad, and people acted like it was the greatest tablet on earth. It was a waste of money because it ended up being slow and ****** within a few months. I think a phone and a tablet is more than good enough.

What may have been good six months ago may not be good enough today. Plus, no things come out all the time and there is no problem with getting a new tablet today if it does even more than something you bought six months ago.

Now I still have the Retina Mini and that old Nexus 7 and a Surface Pro 3. Sox months from nowm, there may be something even better than my Surface Pro 3.

I have one iPad from each generation. From the fifth, the rMini, not the Air; from the sixth (the current one), (naturally, only a retard would get the Mini 3) the Air 2.
