Yes, I have 4 offered to me today... So they are clearly still allowing upgrades but have removed any DRM format files so they have the same format throughout.

I have 40 left.

Which is made up of two complete albums, and a few tracks from two other albums where the tracks were not upgraded when I upgraded the album.

The two complete albums are missing from the store.

1090. :(

Not willing to pay 30 cents to upgrade songs that now cost just what I originally paid for them (or am I missing something ... ?).

Around 1200. I'm not too enthused about paying $360 to get them all to iTunes Plus, though most of them aren't in my upgrade list.

It's interesting to see how many people have songs that are still protected. I find that most of my protected tracks have been removed from the store. I guess that is one way to go DRM free, but really isn't fair to the consumer imo.

It's worth periodically checking, 61 of mine have come back and I have upgraded 60 of them (the other one sucked).

256 left despite upgrading everything available.

Now some of these are where iTunes has actually upgraded but not replaced the original song. I will sort those out, but need to transfer across the playcounts from the protected songs first.

Some others are where the original album has been replaced by a remastered version since I bought it - no upgrade offered for that.

And others have simply disappeared from the store - At The Drive In for example

what is the method in paying to upgrade the old tracks to the drmless tracks?

can i use money that i have on my itunes account?

or is it charged to my credit card?

thanks

I like how they say "Just click Buy All and...."

If I "just" clicked on the Buy All button, then according to their calculations it would run me way over a thousand dollars!

If I actually clicked on the relatively few things I might be interested in upgrading, it might come to thirty or forty bucks. Not a high priority right now.

I have over 4k protected songs left.

Now, this is interesting...

I have an album where I still own the protected version, even though the unprotected one is available for purchase. Today I checked the upgrade page and it's listing three songs from that album as available for upgrade, but not the rest of the album. Even more confusing is that one of the songs is listed as from the "greatest hits" rather than the actual album.

I'll check back next week and see whether it gives me the rest.

I've had an album appear a few songs at a time too. I was eventually able to get the whole thing, but at first only three songs were made available.

As others have noted, it seems Apple pulled all the remaining protected songs so they could claim to be completely iTunes Plus, but it appears they're still adding albums back. I just had one show up the other day.

I have 35 protected songs left.
19 of those are upgradable. The rest were taken off the store during late march/early april and are showing no signs of returning. So 19 of those songs can be upgraded, but 16 are stuck as protected. I'm just lucky I buy mostly CD's.

I have several albums and songs that are still protected. Some of the songs and albums are available in non-DRM format on the store but I haven't been offered an upgrade yet.

Yesterday I did get four albums appear on the upgrade page that had already been upgraded earlier. If I'd hit "Buy All" I'd be wasting my money.

I also had 24 songs appear yesterday that were from albums other than the ones I had originally purchased.

The iTunes Plus upgrade process has not been smooth.

I now only have 14 drm protected songs left. I upgraded 16 today which became available today. I have 443 itunes plus songs.
