Technically I've spent about $45 at the App Store ($10 of which was for the iPhone update), but I actually paid $47 to get a $100 iTunes code.

Boy, those little numbers sure add up.

I know. The scenario for me is like

"Oh it has good reviews, looks cool, only for less than US$5, might as well get it"

Next day...

"Huge sale on this app, might as well get since it's only a buck.."

So on and so forth then when you go over all of your receipts you'll be

(But then again most of them were really useful or entertaining on my side)

I've been helping Apple and the economy these past months.
Pretty sure I'm nearing $100 just in app store purchases.

I've spent about $160 and I'd say been burned on about $30 to $40 of those apps and games. I'm gonna have to start becoming even more picky now and probably can't take a chance like I used to.

Wow, those numbers *do* add up! I just tallied mine, and it's about $52! Of that, about $14 worth was a total waste of money.

However, that $52 includes 2 bigger-ticket apps (Scrabble and Spreadsheet, which were each almost $8) so if you subtract those and just look at the dollar or so impulse buys, it's much more reasonable.

BeejiveIM ($16)
Crash Kart ($10)
Monkey Balls ($10)
Cro-Mag ($2) - got this only because of the price drop. I wasn't and I'm still not interested in this game
MobileChat ($3) - Biggest waste of $$$ in the app store. Even Cro was a better purchase
Landscape Email - ($1)
Voice Recorder ($1)

Total - $43

If you count movies (as it was only for my iPhone)... $63.

Let's see
  • Brushes ... $1
  • Cubes ... $3
  • Ikanoid ... $1 (which I don't play anymore, glitches when I am having a good session)
  • Mach Dice ... $1 (well worth it with the update)
  • Moto Chaser ... $1 (don't play this either, wouldn't have bought it if it weren't $1)
  • Platinum Solitaire ... $3
  • Sketches ... $1 (but I still use the Notes app)
  • Solitaire Top 3 ... $3 (Platinum Solitaire is better because it has goals but this game is good enough)
  • Splash ID ... $10 (had this on my old Treo wasn't going to get another smart phone without it)
  • TanZen ... $1 (game I play most, great time killer)
  • Trism ... $5 (great game)
  • ZEN Pinball: Rolleroaster ... $5 (first app I bought, also showed me that the shopping cart wasn't being used)
  • Blackjack Multi-hand ... $3 (enjoy this slightly more than 21 pro because of the gestures, 21 pro does look better though)
  • 21 Pro: Blackjack ... $1

... $39, mostly because of AppShopper and its price changes section
