I don't get this addiction to TV shows business. Once you've watched the episode / season, what do you do then?
I watch them again, so I can look at them from different perspectives. For example (this is in the audiobook realm, but the point remains), I've listened to HP1-7 looking at it from Harry's point of view, Hermione's, Ron's, Draco's, Voldemort's, Snape's (that was fun... I'd love to see the movies done from Snape's point of view - his sneaking to save Harry, collusion with both Voldemort and Dumbledore, and I'd really love to see the reconciliation with HP after the end of the story. Let him talk to Snape in the portraits, since something must have happened to have his son be named after Snape).

Just a fun mental exercise, I suppose.

For those who keep a lot of movies on their device – I have tons of mp4’s and like to take a lot on trips where I know I’ll have little, poor, or no Internet connection. I just bought one of these for offline access:

http://meenova.com/st/p/dash_i.html

I put an exFAT 256GB uSD card in it, loaded with mp4’s and it works great. Access for video streaming is very fast, unlike a similar device I tried before that I returned. One limitation – it can only play files less than 4GB in size (I emailed their support to question this). Access is through the vendor’s app. It works so well that I bought a second one for my wife’s Air 2. Having pass-through charging available is a nice extra (though oddly it takes a micro USB connector, not Lightning, on its power port).

I also use a RAVPower wireless FileHub that I can plug my 4TB HDD into and stream video form (no size limitations).

https://www.amazon.com/RAVPower-Wireless-Portable-Companion-Streamer/dp/B016ZWS9ZE

At $40, both of these units are relatively inexpensive and provide great capabilities. As a result, I don't store any videos on my Air 2 itself.

Thanks to all who replied. At the end of the day, Actually this morning, I decided it was worth the $100 to have some storage surplus. I realized that if I needed to visit my mom for an extended period, that she has no internet. She may have wifi from her cable company, but she has no computer, no iPad or no smart phone.

Iirc, because of how newer iOS versions handle DRM, those don't work with videos purchased through iTunes. Probably the same scenario with videos purchased/digital copy codes redeemed through VUDU, Google Play, Amazon Video, etc.

Correct. For any storage options like these, you can't use DRM-protected media.
