My discount is through my employer. Right now it is being applied. After taxes my total bill is $61.73/ month. If they ever take it away, I'm fine with it because I'm still paying such a low price.

Hmmm. So is that the $60 "loyalty" promo that just recently began, or is this a different promo/plan that just so happens to be priced the same as this most recent promo. I'm trying to figure out how you're able to get your employer discount on this. Unless you're reimbursed by your employer and the discount isn't actually facilitated through Verizon like typical employer discounts?

I am not on any "loyalty" promo. I'm a new Verizon customer as of August. I am on the new individual $60 plan. I simply went in online and applied for the discount and received a text back saying it had been approved. I'm not reimbursed by my job. I'm only saving $9, not like it's a ton of money.

Ooook, gotcha! Do you pay the monthly device access fee as well? I think the typical monthly line access fee is $30-$40/mo?

How much is your monthly iPhone bill?

$178 for 10gb shared between two lines and AT&T Next on both. Unlimited talk and text.

i looked into cricket years ago. Just checked coverage map, and it doesnt seem to be as good as what i'd get with GSM StraightTalk. AT&T bought Circket this year, so maybe it has updated or improved, and the map just doesn't reflect that. Most likely they'll use the same towers, if not better with cricket since its att.

but with the couple years i've been using CDMA straighttalk, i havent had the issues you described, and im not too worried about data since wifi is everywhere.

but if its a better service i'll switch.
I'll look into it more.

CDMA straight talk is either Verizon or Sprint. AT&T and T-Mobile are the choices for GSM on straight talk. T-Mobile and Verizon are your best bet for data on straight talk. Verizon and AT&T are your best bet for coverage. Cricket will operate on AT&T towers for GSM.

No, there are no monthly device fess on the single line plan. It's a $60 -flat rate. Only additional fee would be the Edge device payment if you went that route.

Koodo Mobile

Unlimited Canada-Wide calling
Unlimited International SMS/MMS
5GB Data (Overages are $10/GB)
Visual Voicemail
Call Display/Call Waiting/Call Forwarding

Is this an older plan that they don't offer any more or did you get a deal on one of their current plans?

10gb mobile share data
Unlimited text and calls
4 phones and one ipad.
-one phone on contract
-two phones off contract
-an iPhone 6 plus 64fb on next
-an iPad 4th gen 16gb GSM on next

the bill itself is $155 but the added cost of the next comes out to abiut $218.

One of the iff contract lines is going to be switching to Verizon soon. Cheaper than MetroPCS or prepaid with similar plans if you ask me. ($60-5 for each line=$275)

Interesting. I'll have to call VZW and see if that plan is available. The only difference between this plan and the "loyalty promo" plan that I'm on is that one allows employer discounts and one does not. Sure, the discount only comes out to like $7-$10/mo, but still.

I'm in Canada so the rip-off feature is built into my account. But I got on a plan that was briefly offered by Fido 2 years ago and now I'm grandfathered as long as I don't claim any hardware upgrade/subsidy.

2 Lines
Unlimited talk/text/MMS/no Long Distance fees
International Text/MMS
All call features (visual voice mail, caller ID, name display, call FWD etc...)
2GB LTE per line

$105/month total
