I have a corporate plan provided by my employer (which probably gets a discounted rate) and don't pay the bill directly myself - although the free phone and bill is a taxable benefit (up to a certain limit).

From the bill I can view, the recurring monthly fees are approximately USD 55, which includes:
  • unlimited domestic calls
  • unlimited domestic SMS
  • 35 GB data per month

New contract:

Unlimited voice
Unlimited SMS (no mms for free)
7GB 4g data
iPhone 6 64gb 100€ upfront to have it

45€/month

30month contract

It's gone up again.

O2 UK
iPhone 6 plus 128GB
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited calls
8GB 4G data (tethering included)
£58 a month ($90)

$30 T-Mobile

100 minutes (I use maybe 20 a month.)
Unlimited text
Unlimited data, throttled after 5 GB
Tethering

It's not the best plan if you do a ton of talking, unless you can do most of that via Facetime audio. But if you're like me and rarely use the "phone" aspect of your phone, it's an excellent deal. I don't miss my AT&T bill at all, and I'm glad to have that extra $45 a month back.

1 phone . Iphone 5 32gb . 450 min. Unlimited data ... Unlimited texts. I pay $80.00 a month ..... Quick question, u guys think any of the next upgrade programs would benefit me?? I was looking to do a new 2 year upgrade with the iphone 6 any day now. But it sounded temping not to fork out the $300 price for my new phone.

I think with the Next programs, the only way to get the $25 discount on your monthly rate is to give up your unlimited data and switch to a Mobile Share plan. If you use more than 2GB of data per month, I'd stick with what you have and just use an upgrade. Do you have a corporate discount you can apply to lower your monthly rate?

I'm on the legacy Nation 450/Rollover with a $5 200 text plan and Unlimited Data. It's $74.98 before my discount and $53.74 with all the discounts applied. I got CSR to switch me to the legacy unlimited text/M2M plan for an extra $3.75 (after my discount) effective next year, and so will be on the same plan as you. Unless I decide to switch to Sprint and take advantage of their "half-price" offer, I'm planning to stick with my current plan.

Getting back on topic with this thread, my final rate with taxes is $62 for 450 anytime minutes, 5000 night/weekend, 200 texts, and unlimited data. It will soon be $65 for the same but with unlimited texts and unlimited mobile-to-mobile (any domestic carrier).

Thanks for the reply. I actually get 20% discount through work discount. Looks like for me it's better to just pay the upgrade and just pay the $80.00 for 2 years.

That's probably the case if you use lots of data. If you are looking for a price reduction and are paying $20 for the unlimited text and m2m, try seeing if they'll knock the price of that feature to $10. Their system can do it, as I found out yesterday. I told Customer Care that I was considering taking Sprint up on their half-price offer, and that was the one concession they were willing to give me (along with a bunch of rollover minutes that I may or may not need).

Is there retention dept number or regular 611 would do?

I sent a private message to AT&T Customer Care on their forums. I got a call from one of their social media managers who claimed to have access to all the cards that Retention plays.

Just as other countries get "ripped off" on gas prices and various other goods and services.

USD 10.90/month on a 12 month sim only contract

Three UK

200 minutes
500mb data
3000 SMS
Unlimited Three to Three
Data can be used abroad for free (including in the US and many European countries)
Minutes can be used abroad for free to call back to UK

Thinking of upgrading to their USD 15/month plan to get 1gb data and 600 minutes instead...

I'm very happy with the service, especially now that data and phone roaming is included for free when I travel to the U.S. :)

So you guys can just walk into the carrier store and not pay anything at all for your iPhone 6? Just $63 per month? If so that's pretty good. If not then it's no better than T-Mobile USA.
