Update/edit: My supervisor spoke with Verizon and reported to me today, AccessLine fees for Verizon are expected to increase on April 29. The exact amount was not provided to me. That was what explained to me after messaging you on Friday.
Did the bossman state if that was limited to business accounts or across the board?
Well, in two months time many changes can happen in the cell carrier world. In the past two weeks all carriers have changed their plans and data allotments. So, an increase in price for line access might not be the best for remaining competitive right now.
I sure hope the TM/Sprint merger does not go through. The competition is nice.

Switched this week. Was paying approx $145 to ATT for just the two phone lines with the grandfathered unlimited.

Update: I was informed the increased access line fee's are for Verizon's business class with 50 or more lines. It doesn't sound like it will affect any personal lines.

Normally $100 but if you ask your sales associates for the hook up promotional code, it gives you an extra 20% off the whole bill, for life. The kicker is that this can only be done in stores, not over the phone. You may be able to find the code online, Reddit has a mega thread for it.
