I really appreciate all of the advice/opinions (even though there are, as always, differences of opinions). I'm still leaning toward a 512GB SSD with 32GB of RAM. I get that it may be unnecessary, but I truly don't know what my future use will be and at times my current iMac is showing 24GB or more of RAM usage (I also get that it will use what is available).
AI says that for my use 24GB is the sweet spot and 32GB is a good safety amount if planning to keep the computer for 5-7 years. We all know that AI is always right 😉🤣
