Many times a day for:
- Weather
- Calendar month view (not even to see events, just to see which days fall on which dates)
- Klok (I communicate with people overseas)
- ETA

And for iPad I additionally use the battery widget to see my pencil battery level, and a calculator widget since it doesn’t have one in control center.

I have no widgets on the left screen. Apple's implementation of that leaves a lot to be desired. I just don't know how I'd improve upon it personally. I think for me it's just a UI thing. The widgets are just very clunky imo.

One thing I hate about iOS. Can't place widgets on the home screen. When I had an Android, I'd place calendar, weather and notes widgets on the home screen(s) and then arrange apps. around them.

I use widgets every day on my 7 Plus:

- batteries (very useful to check the battery status if you use Beats headset or to check when your Apple Watch has completed its recharge)
- News (try the widget it’s very clear and intuitive)
- currency Pro (as I live abroad and I keep checking various currencies)

Definitely a nice to have.

I use widgets pretty regularly for "at a glance" checks on the weather, my Countdown app, battery status (especially for my AirPods), Ecobee thermostat and Verizon data.

I interact with them quite a bit.

By order of the most useful, I use the battery widget (I like how it shows me battery for the phone and my AirPods), Next Up to show me what calendar event or reminder is coming, News, weather, Bible verse of the day, the activity monitor and a data monitor for my carrier.

I’m trying to use the Shortcuts widget more, but I need to find/create some shortcuts that I’ll use frequently.
