Doesn’t a screen protector over the notch cause Face ID to not work? Unless you meant it’s not covered by the screen protector.
Nope, my screen protector covers the notch to and FaceID works great!

Interesting, seems like it'd interfere with the dot projector but I guess not. The more you know.Nope, my screen protector covers the notch to and FaceID works great!![]()
Yep, no problem with Dot Projection or any of the other sensors, I guess it sits in such away that it doesn’t reflect much over and above the screen glass.Interesting, seems like it'd interfere with the dot projector but I guess not. The more you know.

silicone case?
Same over here. Glass protector covers the notch and Face ID is just fine.Interesting, seems like it'd interfere with the dot projector but I guess not. The more you know.
I’m glad there’s a solution to “notched” screen protectors. Those always bothered me more than the notch itself.Yep, no problem with Dot Projection or any of the other sensors, I guess it sits in such away that it doesn’t reflect much over and above the screen glass.

I have noticed some microscratches on my notch area too, bro! Can’t feel them with my nails and can only be seen in bright light in an angle.I have one deep scratch in the notch area but that’s now covered by the Tempered Glass screen protector, but other than that? Nothing else that’s visible at least.
Mine had a few microscratches and then one big one that was visible.I have noticed some microscratches on my notch area too, bro! Can’t feel them with my nails and can only be seen in bright light in an angle.
Are yours microscratches too?
Indeed right, brother.Mine had a few microscratches and then one big one that was visible.
My XS Max was stolen this past weekend so I am waiting for its replacement from my insurance, will have a new shiny screen and will make sure it gets protection straight away this time.
This could very well be true, but the best way to fix it is to get a Tempered Glass protector, once that is on the phone looks new again and is better protected.Indeed right, brother.
Anyway, is it true tho that these microscratches are just on the oleophobic coating not the glass of the phone i
Yep, that is what I’m planning now. This could very well be true, but the best way to fix it is to get a Tempered Glass protector, once that is on the phone looks new again and is better protected.
