How to change email password?

I have recently changed my yahoo mail password. When trying to change it on my IOS devices, I found nowhere to do so. Is it necessary to do so in IOS 10?

From what I understand, you can't change the account password on your device. Which is a pain in the ass.

You can, however, delete the account, and then add it again, this time with the correct password.

Not exactly intuitive, but that's the way it is for now. As far as I know, at least.

Actually, after changing Yahoo email account password, I did nothing on my iphone or ipad and am still receiving email on both IOS devices.

Weird, eh?
