how to fix the UI LAG on yosemite

What about trying "sudo purge" in terminal to free all memory. I would imagine that would speed things up.

It is amazing to me that I am on a MacBook Air and have no lag problems with Yosemite at all. Has to be some software bug or driver issue with your rMBP's.
