iPhone How to get the mic icon on keyboard of iphone 4

Okay I have an iPhone 4 iOS 6.0.1 and the microphone icon is missing on the keyboard layout. I don't know how to get it. It comes in handy when I can't type, when Im sending a text. Talk-to-text!! Can anyone help with PLEASSSSSSSE Thanks so much!!

That's Siri Dictation. It's only on devices with Siri and the iPhone 4 is not one of them. You need to have either an iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini, or iPod touch 5 to use Siri / Siri Dictation.

Its doubtful that 3GS has it, or that if it does somehow that it's not just some sort of a glitch and it doesn't really do anything anyway.

It was no "glitch" on my 3GS, that mic worked fine.

If you have it on your 3GS, it must be some kind of jailbreak tweak. I don't think iOS even had dictation before Siri.

Then it must have been something else other than the dictation provided/supported by Apple for iPhone 4S and up.

C DM is correct, Siri and Dictation is not on the 3GS, even the IP4 couldn't handle it even if you put a jailbroken ver of it.
