I have updated to 3.1

Ahhhhhhh, forget it ! Cant be bothered any more

It's not available in every region. Here in Germany we neither have the possibility to cut our ringtones with iTunes by ourselves, nor the possibility to download precut ringtones. Great service

Ya, what county are you in? We are trying to help, no need to get frustrated about wasting $1.29 on ringtones.

Nevermind... I got it to work...

*****After updating to iTunes 9, I cannot get my pre-made ringtones to import into iTunes. I renamed the file to .m4r and tried playing it but nothing. Has anyone successfully used this process after the iTunes 9 upgrade?

Yes, it still works. Look at my previous post to see how. Skip to step 4 or 5, I forget which, and just clip the music and go from there.

My bad.

There is ringtones "page" under More when I go thru the iTunes App on my iPhone.

I assumed that there was a whole buch of ringtones in one "pack" so to speak to download for $1.29.

Didnt realise they (Apple) meant that each snippet costs from $1.29 EACH !!!!

Forget it, what a rip off.

Yep, that's what I was trying to say all along. Just make them yourself. They're trying to take advantage of people who aren't that tech savvy. However, it really is quite easy to do it in iTunes or use one of the free programs. I choose iTunes, since it only take a few steps.

Is there any way to just search those ringtones? To me it looks like there's only a couple hundred so far or less and the only way to search them seems to be the different "top 10s".
