I think I'd go for Cinema 4D. I just got a Lynda.com account and they have a bunch of stuff on it. I also have inventions that i wanted to create/patent so I think this is going to be a rewarding journey for me. Wish me luck. Thanks for the help everyone.

Oy. That's not the wisest choice.

While there's nothing wrong with buying Cinema 4D, I wouldn't recommend having to learn a new program and get the job done well, on time and on budget. You are bound to spend waaay more time on this ... and as they say, time is money.

Best of luck though. I think you'll need it.

I definitely understand where you're coming from. But I was planning on learning 3D modeling sometime down the road anyhow. (I can do basic stuff in sketchup) I'd still be open to finding someone who can help me in the short term but I don't think I'll be able to.

Even the products featured on Apple's product pages are all computer renders instead of actual photography.

But don't feel like you necessarily have to copy that style. You could simply show professional photography of the product being used (if viable). Or some good hero shots. Or even one good shot against a knocked-out background with color swatches below.

If you're a startup, that may be a more economical and pragmatic solution if you want to start selling these before you learn how to use modeling software.

The more pragmatic solution that I'm going for would be someone cable of doing that in computer renders. It's not economical but marketing is everything these days, and I think it'd be worth it in the long run. One day I do hope to be able to do it myself.
