What are adult sites doing to their webpage coding to bypass and defeat blockers? And why can't someone write a blocker to defeat their code?

Pop ups can occur when visiting sites, whether you have adware or not.

You can install some ad-blockers, but none of them will eliminate 100% of pop-up ads.

GGJ is right on the mark. None of use will ever get rid of all of them. Just use the Adblocker and live with it or sell your computer and be done with it.

There is no such thing as "Adblocker" for Firefox!

Tried AdBlock Plus but I still get windows popping up in the background!!

Anyone else have a solution? Isn't there a single browser or plugin that can stop all background pop up windows?

A lot of those popups are from skeevy web sites that use Javascript to run popups. You can try just turning Javascript off altogether in Firefox, but you may lose some functionality on legit sites that need it. You can also try the NoScript Firefox extension to selectively block Javascript on only some sites.

I did that, but still get popup windows appearing in the background.

Is there any other solution I can try?
