Just install newer firmware, as long as you do not have the iPad baseband, the baseband will be updated.

If you have the iPad baseband, you must remove it first before the baseband can be updated. iClarified.com has a tutorial to remove the iPad baseband.

Thanks.

At the moment, I have iOS 5.1.1 and 05.13.04 BB.

So, if I use redsn0w to restore again to the same firmware (5.1.1) along with BB, I will get the 05.16.05 BB?

according to iOS Version History, that's the BB I get for the 3GS in v5.1.1...

BTW, I'm curious... I can't find the 06.15.00 BB (iPad baseband) anywhere in the list... where is it? when was it launched? in which version of the iOS?

The 6.15.xx is an old iPad baseband, never was a baseband for 3G/3GS (except when hacked into the devices)

Now I'm really confused.... I thought the iPad baseband was a NEWER baseband that people where upgrading in the devices and when they found troubles with it, they decided to DOWNGRADE to the other supposed older firmware (05.13.04).

If it is an OLDER version for the iPad devices, why do people want to hack the 3GS with this firmware?

And YES, I found it (sorry)... the iPad baseband was launched in April 3, 2010. In iOS 3.2 version.

Sorry for all these questions but it's a real mystery to me...
