For me it doesn’t affect me. I usually upgrade every year but I do wanna stop that habit lol. If I stick to my phone I think every 2 yrs would be when I would swap my battery. My parents and gf tended to stick to their phones and batteries became bad after 2-3 years. I swap my mom 5s battery after 4 years even. She still rocks her 5s.
