I’m planning on upgrading this year and I can’t decide how I’m going to protect the phone. I won’t go naked. I use best skins ever back protection on my 7+ now and it works ok besides having to replace it every few months. I do have some screen scratches because the phone slips easily out of pockets.

I like the apple leather cases but I really enjoy the feel of the phone without a case. But this new phone will be a more expensive repair job unless I get apple care (which I may).

What do you plan on doing? Naked with apple care? Skin? Case?

Just do what you want. I go naked. If I drop it and it cracks or break, I get it fixed. If it’s fully messed up, but another one. Not that hard. Just try not to break it.

Same as I did the X ;cheap & cheerful ESR thin clear case from Amazon and an Oleophobic Tempered glass screen protector

I always use Urban Armor Gear cases and no screen protectors...
