I use notability more often than not

Snap.... It was updated months ago that included:-

Handwriting Recognition.
You can now convert handwritten notes to text.
Simply tap on the ‘clip tool’, select the handwritten text then tap on the box and select ‘convert to text’.

Two notes open side by side.
Now you can have two notes open and work on both.
Simply drag from the left to bring up the list of available notes. Now tap and hold on the note then drag across onto the main screen. This will then leave you with both notes side by side.

Search handwritten notes.
You can now search for any handwritten text.
Simply tap on the search tool and type the word to search for. It will then display all available notes and the respective pages the word appears in. All searched text will be highlighted in yellow. Plus if there are multiple searched words on the same page, all searched words will be highlighted.

Without a doubt feature wise it’s the best for me

They have just updated it for new pencil too so least double tap works perfectly

Nice one..... I knew it was coming but as I am still waiting for my new Pro & Pencil to turn up I didn’t realise they had it already updated.

Yeah very quick and I see they have Face ID for certain notes that want locking down if you request it. Nice touch

You have just made my day...... I requested that one to the devs some time back.

What feature do you use for double-tap with Procreate Kate?
I take it it is easy to choose and setup?

Still waiting for my Pro and Pencil so obviously have no idea at the mo.

I mapped the Quick Menu to the tap which displays my most used brushes and a new layer shortcut. Procreate's newest update now opens the quick menu wherever you invoke it rather than the center of the screen so the tap gesture is even more efficient.

There's a simple, albeit inelegant, fix for this. Just take one of your silicone grips and slit it down the side. Wrap it on your Pencil when using it; stow it away when charging.

Unfortunately it doesn't fit since it was a sleeve-style grip and the new Pencil is shorter. I'll get used to it.

Besides the charging and minor aesthetic change, it performs exactly the same as the first pencil. To me that’s disappointing as there is still a lot of room for improvement. With that being said its still in my opinion the best stylus of its kind. But if you are looking for major changes outside of the charging and feel, you won’t find any in how it performs.
