So what do you think? The bigger battery is a much welcome improvement I would say. That combined with Jelly bean makes me want one

Sense isn't that bad. Both TouchWiz and Sense have there downfalls and benfits, what don't you like about it?

Sense used to suck, but with sense 4 they've cleaned it up a bit. Touchwiz is still bad IMO

Sense 4.1 on current One X is very good.

The only part of Sense I don't like is the app drawer which I would prefer to be more like stock android.



HTC One X+ is nice, but not really much of an improvement over the One X and I really can't see how it will shift the balance so that those going for an android smart phone will decide to go with the One X+ over the SGS3.

If they were already contemplating get a one X over the SGS3, then the differences the + make are little, but nothing in the One X+ screams buy me over the leading flagship android SGS3.



More importantly for exisiting one X users, the Engadget video interview shows your man pull out his existing one X (rather than the OneX+) with Google Now and hence JB running..

Means JB update and Sense 4+ can only be around the corner....

It has 64 GB built in...what exactly do you do with an SD card? And the battery is larger, and should be totally competent.

I have a pro usage so I need to have my 30GB of mails with me. I also have 300 GB of music and would appreciate a descent part of it. 64 GB is just too small for me.
I doubt one battery could keep up with a regular day usage. I am charging my 3GS twice per day when I am at the office I guess it would be even worse once traveling!

I don't know, I personally think the One X looks much nicer than the GS3. The memory limitation is a huge downfall IMO, considering the GS3 has expandable memory. Now that you have the option for 64 GB (assuming they release that model in the US ), I think it's every bit the equal, if not better than the GS3. It's pretty much widely accepted that the One X has a superior screen to the GS3 and many, like myself, prefer the unibody type construction. I hated the flimsy battery cover on my GNex.

If I was looked at an Android device, I'd hold out for the upcoming Nexus device(s) but if it was between the One X+ and the GS3, I'd probably get the HTC.

Agreed for international customer but here in the US, we only had a 16 GB option so that spec bump, coupled with the better battery, greatly diminish the advantage the GS3 has over the current One X.

No phone on the market offers the kind of storage you are after, even the S3 with a 64GB card doesn't meet your requirement. Obviously your needs in a phone go far beyond what even a typical heavy user would require.

I think for a typical user the inbuilt 64GB is more than adequate. The bigger battery will help but an external portable charger is required for the type of usage you describe. When a manufacturer brings out a phone with the specs you need, it will be one hell of a handset and I'll be in the queue to buy it.

My problem for now is which handset to buy, I'm due an upgrade in 10 days. It's a toss up between One X+ and the GS3. The way I see it the S3 has more bells and whistles, but the One X+ just looks gorgeous to me, the Sense changes along with Jelly Bean are just so smooth.

Both of those aren't deal breakers for me. I have no problem reaching the top and you can always flash a stock rom if you feel the need for asop.

I'm just waiting for a 5inch incredible X type version to reach AT&T, because the One X+ isn't enough of an upgrade to the One X.

Note II just a little big for my tastes, S3 and One X+ are about as big as I could go. More I see of the One X+ the more I like it.

These two are what i sometimes go back and forth between also. What are you leaning towards? Pros and cons?

My only con to the Lumia 920 is windows 8 lol that's a big con. The lack of apps I use etc

I know it may be a foreign concept to the iPhone crowd, but when you have a phone that functions like a PC, you tend to use your phone as such, meaning we want and need to hold a lot more data. For instance, I am going on a trip and there are TV episodes of shows I missed and want to watch them on the TV at the hotel. I can do this with the S3. I also want to have multiple work, personal and shared folders partitioned out on an SD card. Something you don't ever want (or can't) do on the phones SD card.
These are just a couple reasons. Backing up a lot of data is another. Point is, you can n very have too much storage space, and for just $50 why not expand your phone another 64gb? Unless, you buy an iPhone, then you get ripped off just to get 64gb.
