The one phone this year that got released that I said I wanted and I can't have it. Seems like there are so many manufacturers but none of them meets my needs and wants in some way or the other.
It probably would have been, but LCD made it unable to support DayDream requirements. Too bad Google couldn’t offer it anyway. Maybe this phone with OLED will be the Pixel 3. I could get on board with that.Just imagine if the U11+ was the Pixel 2 XL instead.
I was looking at this... ya'know... for 'curiosity' purposes only...
It seems for the UK, it is only available direct from HTC?
Seems strange. Normally CarPhoneWarehouse, if anyone, end up stocking most devices (even niche ones that networks won't touch) but the U11+ doesn't seem to have any support - unless HTC have purposely made it that way.
Maybe they don't have a huge supply of them?
interesting... you'd think they'd want to make some sales!
Agreed.
Also, just read that there are no plans to bring any other colour other than 'black' (not the translucent one) to the UK either.
What exactly is their aim with this device I wonder?
I almost bought a U11 Plus from Amazon. But it comes with no warranty......so I'm a little hesitant to say the least. They don't even sell it on their website.not sure at all. HTC is definitely an enigma these days. I loved the U11 and really want the U11+ but they don't really provide a good and clear path for many to purchase their phones. Maybe next year they'll get it right? Maybe the U12 (Who knows what they'll call it, their naming scheme isn't very clear) will be the U11+ plus the 845 chip and other improvements and be sold everywhere!
To the states? My country is on the list to receive HTC u11+. They said release date is on 15.12.2017.
Well, to this day, no one is selling this phone. And HTC doesn't respond to email if they will ever sell it.
HTC is almost dead. And it's a shame, since they make really great phones. But availability isn't there, their marketing is probably done by 2 year olds, etc.
True. They botched this release all together. Pretty sad
EDIT: Maybe they're holding off for the SD845 and then turn it into the U12 (or whatever they'll call the next iteration)?
